Hello everyone! we're trying to find some plans for building a downeast-type lobster boat. we want to keep it trailerable, with an 8' beam, so that would put the length somewhere between 24 - 27' we're familiar with the arno day / beale / lowell / holland, etc. boats.. I built the midwest lobster boat then i wanted to build a bigger one so i had the plans enlarged about 33% to buils a 40 inch model but i never got around to building it so i'm not sure if it would work out right.
